Isai RochaL.A. County Public Health officials said SoFi Stadium will require and provide KN95 masks for Super Bowl LVI. Attendees can also expect to ushers to remind fans that masks must be worn at all times, except when eating or drinking.
Since the winter surge in positive COVID-19 cases, L.A. Public Health has urged residents to leave behind its cloth masks and opt for surgical grade masks, or higher.
The county have also required vaccination or negative COVID-19 checks at the entrance of “mega events” such as games at stadiums and the same will apply for the Super Bowl.
Kathryn Schloessman, president and CEO at Los Angeles Sports & Entertainment Commission had previously mentioned that masks would be provided by SoFi Stadium during the Super Bowl, adding that it would be ready to make adjustments if necessary.
