KayleeCartier threw a dinner party last night in West Hollywood in celebration of the launch of Clash [Un]limited, an extension of the Clash de Cartier collection that the luxury brand describes as “a collection rooted in duality, [embracing] the modern spirit through its inherent paradoxes.” Guests were treated to an immersive jewelry viewing journey through a multi-room display created by Snarkitecture exclusively for Cartier, created to play off of the craftsmanship of the newly displayed jewelry collections and to present the new Clash [Un]limited assortment in a way that shook up fine jewelry conventions.
Musical artist Finneas (notably also the brother of Gen Z favorite singer-songwriter and soon-to-be Met Gala co-chair Billie Eilish) produced and created a custom soundscape specifically for the exhibition. The installation featured pieces including studded bracelets, conical onyx rings, a rose gold mesh mitten watch with diamonds, amethyst rings, and a reversible onyx and diamond necklace in white gold.
The night’s menu was customized to echo the themes that run throughout the Clash [Un]limited collection, from hand-crafted cocktails to a menu created by Michelin-starred chef Curtis Stone based around sustainable ingredients, and of course, Clash de Cartier. The dinner was finished off with high gloss black chocolate picot domes filled with matte silver mini macarons by chef Chris Ford.
Notable guests of the evening included Dan Levy, Kathy Hilton and Nicky Hilton, Ashe, Benny Blanco, Claudia Sulewski, Ella Balinska, Gracie Abrams, Renell Medrano, and Lily Collins who was recently named the face of Clash [Un]limited. The Emily in Paris actress leaned heavily into a chic, nonconformist style with punk-inspired Cartier jewelry as she browsed the installation for the @cartier instagram, promising “so much more to come” on her personal page.
The exhibition is open to the public at 8552 Melrose Avenue, West Hollywood, California from 10AM-7PM on August 25 – September 1, and 10AM-3PM on August 26.
